As of 30 August 2017, a tram running on the new route between RB Ulemiste and Tallinn Lennart Meri International Airport is available for passengers travelling to Tallinn.
The Tallinn public transport card as well as single tickets are valid in public city buses. Tickets are sold by the driver when you enter the bus. The cost of a single ticket is 2 EUR.
Drive from the airport to the venue will take approximately 20 minutes and the rate is around 10 EUR.
- Transfers by taxi will not be reimbursed by the organisers.
- Taxi rates are not limited by law in Estonia. Before you start your ride, make sure that the rate is acceptable to you and, if possible, ask the driver for the estimated fare. In order to avoid any unpleasant experiences with taxis, the airport recommends that you only use airport partner taxis waiting at the official taxi park of the airport right in front of the terminal doors.
- Arriving by Sea
The Tallinn-Helsinki sea connection is one of the busiest international passenger routes in the world. Ferries cross the Gulf of Finland between Tallinn and Helsinki several times a day, covering the distance in roughly 2 to 3 hours. From late spring to late autumn, high-speed vessels also operate on the route, reducing travel time to just an hour and a half. From the port, you can take bus number 2 from Terminal A if you wish to reach the city centre or the airport. Taxis also operate from the port.
- Arriving by Bus
International bus lines (Lux Express and Ecolines) offer bus connections between Tallinn and many European cities. Domestic bus lines, fares and timetables can be found on: http://www.tpilet.ee/.
